Iniesta Experience

Andrés Iniesta’s new business project, “Iniesta Experience“, located in Barcelona’s Port Vell, has worked with the Laser Maze development team to create one of its main interactive experiences: the “Training Camp“.

For this project, we developed a 10 x 6 metre laser maze installation, designed to recreate an authentic training circuit where participants must put their agility, precision, speed and reaction time to the test.

The course consists of a total of 13 lasers, distributed across 5 green beams, 4 red beams and 4 blue beams, strategically positioned throughout the circuit. All the elements were integrated into a black truss structure, creating an installation that visually matches the aesthetics and sporting concept of “Iniesta Experience”.

The objective of the activity is to complete the entire training circuit without touching any of the laser beams and in the shortest possible time. Every movement counts: participants must crouch, dodge and constantly change direction to overcome the different light obstacles and reach the final stage of the challenge.

Once the course has been completed, it is time for the decisive moment: kick the ball and score a goal. In this way, the experience combines the challenge of the laser maze with a final football skills test, creating a dynamic and entertaining activity for visitors.

One of the most technically impressive aspects of the project was the integration of our control system with the scoring software specifically developed by the “Iniesta Experience” team.

Although the installation uses our Laser Maze console and technology to control the laser beams and record player actions, the system was remotely connected to the proprietary software developed specifically for the experience. This allowed the venue to maintain its own scoring system, adapted to the overall dynamics of the attraction.

The integration between both platforms makes it possible to record the performance of each participant and turn the course into a genuine race against the clock, where players can try to improve their results and compete to achieve the highest score.

The result is an experience that combines technology, sport and entertainment, turning our laser maze into an authentic interactive training camp inspired by the world of football.
