Mr. Joy
Mr. Joy, a leading company in the children’s entertainment industry in Latin America and owner of major family leisure centers, trusted us with the development, preparation, and shipment of a Laser Maze installation for one of the rooms in their indoor playground located in Quito, Ecuador.
The project was integrated into a space measuring 2.5 meters wide by 8 meters long, designed to deliver an immersive and challenging experience within the park’s entertainment area. The goal was to transform a compact room into a visually striking attraction capable of combining skill and fun.
The installation features a system composed of 12 laser beams strategically distributed throughout the course, along with their corresponding reflection mirrors and detection sensors. Thanks to this setup, multiple light paths and beam crossings are created, increasing the difficulty and enhancing the gameplay experience.
The system is connected to an interactive scoring software, where every time a player interrupts one of the laser beams, the sensors automatically trigger a sound alarm and apply a real-time score penalty. This mechanic turns the course into a true mission of precision and agility, increasing competitiveness and excitement among participants.
In addition, the project was visually themed with an aesthetic inspired by bank vaults, incorporating customized graphic elements, illuminated signage, and ambient effects that reinforce immersion while giving the attraction a modern and technological appearance.
The final result is a compact, dynamic, and highly attractive experience for children and teenagers, becoming one of the most eye-catching activities in the park.
